High Protein French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread – l use Jason’s Sourdough 
  • 100ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • A serving of Vanilla protein 
  • Dash of pink salt
  • Cinnamon
  • Honey / fruit toppings

Method

  1. Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine milk, eggs, vanilla protein powder, and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Prepare the Bread: Slice your sourdough bread in half and poke small holes in it to help it absorb the mixture better.

  3. Coat the Bread: Dip each slice into the blended mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place it in a heated pan over low heat.

  4. Cook Slowly: Pour any leftover mixture over the bread and cook on low heat until golden brown, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside.

  5. Add Toppings & Serve: Top with fresh fruit, cinnamon, and honey, and serve with a side of Greek yogurt. Enjoy your delicious, high-protein French toast.
